Theme Bar and Restaurant Awards 2008   The Theme Bar and Restaurant Awards celebrate the best of the best in the industry bringing together excellence in modern drinks, design and hospitality. Now in their seventh year, they include four regional nomination parties and culminate in the national final where over 800 key professionals celebrate our dynamic and exciting industry. The first Theme Bar and Restaurant Awards regional final takes place at Revolution, Leadenhall, London on Tuesday 29th January. 300 guests will enjoy a great range of cocktails and beers and celebrate the venues chosen to go through to the national final. The national final will take place on Tuesday 17th June at Battersea Evolution in London where all the winners will be announced. Theme readers can nominate their own venues or their peers for the awards using the form downloadable below or by using the new online voting system. The awards will also involve extensive canvassing of opinion from key regional contacts as well as mystery visiting. At the end of the process a winner for each category in each region will be announced, with the four regional winners subject to further scrutiny and mystery visits prior to the announcement of the national Theme Bar and Restaurant Awards 2008 winners on 17th June. The four regions are: the South of England (covering everywhere south of Birmingham); The North and Wales (covering England north of, & including, Birmingham, plus Wales); Scotland; and Ireland.
